Ban cars in Paris

When I ride the bus or the bike or just walk around any time between, oh, say, 8am and 8pm, this is usually one of the top 5 thoughts in my head. Especially on the bus – once last week it took 20 minutes to get through an intersection at 2pm because of car traffic. And of course they can’t add buses even if they’re packed since there’s already far too much traffic.

This city wasn’t built for everyone to have 300 square feet around them while moving through town (and that’s just while parked – it doesn’t take into account the fact that cars aren’t glued to one another while driving). Just ban ’em, and improve public transport in the region. Maybe build some parking lots at the end of the metro lines.
