David Brooks: Everything makes you poor, but being poor doesn’t affect anything

Somehow David Brooks was able to cite a book by a racist in an argument that completely misunderstood the entire concept of “cause and effect,” all to fellate rich people as is Brooks’ habit, and he is still employed by the New York Times. Don’t ever let it be said that the media is so PC that no one who even appears insensitive can get a platform – out and out racists who hate the working class with a cold, stern passion have regular columns in the paper of record.

Of course, it makes you wonder about the Times’ readership, or at least what the Times thinks of them. I do know that if anyone complains, they’ll take it as proof positive that Brooks is “controversial” and “raises interesting questions.”
