Santorum opposes birth control

Hey, this guy sounds totally reasonable. Maybe we should let him lead the free world:

Rick Santorum reiterated his belief that states should have the right to outlaw contraception during an interview with ABC News yesterday, saying, “The state has a right to do that, I have never questioned that the state has a right to do that. It is not a constitutional right, the state has the right to pass whatever statues they have.”

Santorum’s thing is that he’s clumsy enough to articulate the terminal goal of social conservative desires. Remember his man-on-dog comment? That was his way of saying that the gay stuff isn’t about marriage or military readiness or special rights – it’s about sex. And so is abortion, for them.
